Description	:	Helen L. Hoover, 83, passed away Saturday, February 18th, in Junction City, KS. She was born July 30, 1928 in Junction City, the daughter of Barney and Louise (Cott) Roesler. Growing to womanhood in the area, she attended local schools and graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 1946. She had been employed by Drs. Carr and Smiley in Junction City. Read More	Helen L. Hoover, 83, passed away Saturday, February 18th, in Junction City, KS. She was born July 30, 1928 in Junction City, the daughter of Barney and Louise (Cott) Roesler. Growing to womanhood in the area, she attended local schools and graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 1946. She had been employed by Drs. Carr and Smiley in Junction City. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Junction City. On March 4, 1952, she was married to Dean Hoover. All of their married life was spent farming in the Moonlight Community northeast of Abilene, KS. Helen is survived by her Husband, Dean of Abilene KS; Daughters: Debbie (Warren) Hull of Abilene, Patty (Steve) Gustin of Abilene, Judy (David) Taylor of Abilene, Theresa (Jason) Peck of Abilene, Tricia Davis of Abilene; Sons: David Hoover of Abilene, Mike (Heather) Hoover of Abilene; Sister, Marjorie Houlton of Arvada, CO; 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a Wednesday, February 22nd at the Zion United Church of Christ in Junction City with Reverends Jason Kohler and Charles Norman officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery northeast of Abilene KS. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm Tuesday, February 21st, at the Danner Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial contributions in her name be given to the Zion United Church of Christ. They may be left at the church the day of the service or left at or sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home, PO Box 758, Abilene KS 67410.
