Stewart of the home; daughter, Sandra Crenshaw (Randy)of Pickens; sons, Eddie Messer (Jackie) and Doug Messer (Judy), both of Liberty, and Roger Stewart of Mililani, Hawaii; sisters, Leola Lesley, Dot Messer and Lila Mae Bates of Liberty, Verlin Ann Connelley of Pickens, Nancy Sons of Powdersville, Velma Stubbs of Greenville and Bonnie Lowery of Belton; brothers, Donald Patterson of Liberty and Ray Patterson of Pickens; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband William Carroll Messer, a sister, Linda Patterson, and a brother, Odell Patterson. Funeral service to honor the life of Lucille were held 2 p.m. Tuesday March 14, 2000 at Rice's Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Ray Longenecker and the Rev. Billy Bates. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation were Monday, March 13, 2000 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Liberty Mortuary. The family was at the home. Liberty Mortuary handled arrangements
