STILL AND CHILDREN WERE VISITING AT ARLINGTON, WASHINGTON, AT THE TIME OF DEATH The news of the very sudden death of Little Helen Still, three years old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Albert Still, was received in Villisca, Thursday evening by Mr. Still, who is the local Burlington ticket agent. The cause of death was not even made known in the telegram which was received by the father and seemed the more sudden, since Mr. Still had received word only that day from Mrs. Still stating that the family were all well. As stated the letter was received Thursday and that same eying at 7:30 Mr. Still received a telegram from his wife stating that their daughter was dead and asked him to come at once. The father left on No. 9 for Arlington, Washington. Mrs. Still and the four children had been visiting in the West for two weeks. They left Villisca August 10 for Lincoln, where they visited until Tuesday of last week in the home of Mr. Still’s brother. They then continued to Arlington, Washington where they were visiting with Mrs. Still’s brother, Jesse Calhoon. They were at the Jesse Calhoon home when death came. The neighbors of the Still family have not been informed as to the details of the burial and the funeral services, but it is presumed that the little body will be brought to Villisca for burial. The members of the family have the sympathy of Villisca people. Still, who was called to Arlington, Washington, last Thursday by the news of the death of his daughter, Miss Helen, states that the family will arrive in Villisca, Friday evening on No. 2 with the little body. The telegram also stated that acute indigestion was the cause of death of the child. The funeral will probably be held Saturday and burial will be made in the Villisca Cemetery.
