She grew up and received her education at the public schools of Chester, NE. On July 22, 1943, at Chester, NE, she was united in marriage to Harold G. She grew up and received her education at the public schools of Chester, NE. On July 22, 1943, at Chester, NE, she was united in marriage to Harold G. Crouse, and to this union four children were born. Crouse was a lifetime members of the old Church of Christ/Community Bible Church of Chester, where she served as Sunday school piano player, and was assistant church organist for most of her life. She served as Clerk for the Village of Chester for several years, and also managed River Oaks Apartments in Hebron, NE, Munden, and Republic for a number of years. She was a 50-year member of Eastern Star-Hebron, NE, serving in all it's offices. Crouse was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers Fletcher and Alvin; and sister Hazel. She is survived by her sons Bruce Crouse of Arkansas City, and Roger Crouse of Chester, NE; daughters Linda Kniep of Kansas City, MO, and Trudy Vanderslice of Omaha, NE; sister Lucille Myers of Bend, OR; 13 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held August 25 at the Central Christian Church. Belleville, conducted by Mark Imel. Interment followed at the Chester Cemetery, Chester, NE.
