She is preceded in death by her husband, Harm; four brothers and three sisters. She was born August 2, 1903 at Gothenburg to Henry Lauer and Nanka Frerichs Lauer. She was married to Harm Ostendorf December 29, 1940 in Gothenburg and was a member of the American Lutheran Church. Survivors include one brother, Henry Lauer of Gothenburg; one sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Frank) Hicken of Gothenburg; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Minnie Lauer of Gothenburg and other relatives. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the American Lutheran Church with the Reverend David Sikes and the Reverend Brian Bergum officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery in Gothenburg.
