Mrs. Bovee died Tuesday, January 13, 2004, at Heritage of Bel Air Nursing Home, Norfolk. Rev. Gordon Bruce will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. service. Henrietta Clara Elfrieda Bovee was born July 18, 1915, in Pierce County to Charles and Augusta (Groskurth) Faudel. She was baptised August 15, 1915, and confirmed April 1, 1928, at Zion Lutheran Church, Pierce. She graduated from Pierce High School in 1932, and attended Midland College in Fremont and Wayne Stat Teacher's College, Pierce. She taught rural school for six years in Pierce County. She married Harley Bovee on September 3, 1939, in Pierce County. She was an active volunteer at the Lutheran Hospital in Norfolk and was involved in many community organizations. She was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Pierce, Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and LLL Mission Connection. She is survived by her husband, Harley Bovee of Norfolk; three daughters, Ila and husbany her parents, one sister and, Harley Bovee of Norfolk; three daughters, Ila and husband William Kraft of Dallas, TX, LaDonna and husband Charles Johnson of Starbuck, MN; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother; Harlow and wife Lela Faudel, Arvada, CO; one niece and one nephew. She was preceeded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
