Description	:	Henry F Hennies passed away at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon at Independence. He had been in failing health for the past two years and bedfast since September. He suffered a stroke last Thursday which paralyzed his right side. Mr Hennies was born in Hanover, Germany, on October 20, 1871. He came with his parents to this country when he was a small boy and lived nearly all his life on a farm near State Center except for three years spent at Hollandale, Minnesota. He returned here in 1929. He never married but is survived by two brothers and... Read More	Henry F Hennies passed away at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon at Independence. He had been in failing health for the past two years and bedfast since September. He suffered a stroke last Thursday which paralyzed his right side. Mr Hennies was born in Hanover, Germany, on October 20, 1871. He came with his parents to this country when he was a small boy and lived nearly all his life on a farm near State Center except for three years spent at Hollandale, Minnesota. He returned here in 1929. He never married but is survived by two brothers and three sisters. They are William Hennies, Mason City; Albert Hennies, Marshalltown; Mrs Warren Hunzelman, St Anthony; Mrs Ed Thake and Mrs August Schaper Sr, State Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Friday afternoon at the Wensel Funeral Home and at 2 o'clock from St Johns Lutheran church with Rev William J F Zabel in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery. January 17, 1935 State Center Enterprise.
