Description	:	Henry Fredrick Ferdinand Oberhaus, 88, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away on July 26, 2020. He was born on August 23, 1931 in Napoleon to Albert and Margerethe (Plum) Oberhaus. Henry was a 1949 graduate of Napoleon High School. Henry enjoyed being outside on the farm, visiting with friends/family, and serving the surrounding area as a Napoleon Township Trustee. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township. For the past 18 years, he spent his winters in sunny Florida playing pool and socializing over game nights. He was born on August 23, 1931 in Napoleon to Albert and Margerethe (Plum) Oberhaus. Henry was a 1949 graduate of Napoleon High School. Henry enjoyed being outside on the farm, visiting with friends/family, and serving the surrounding area as a Napoleon Township Trustee. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township. For the past 18 years, he spent his winters in sunny Florida playing pool and socializing over game nights. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 67 years, Arleta (Gebers); daughter, Brenda Palm; grandchildren, Megan (Rob) Andrews, Gregory (Denada) Palm; and Emily Palm; great grandchildren, Regan Andrews, Adria and Elha Palm; and Sammy, Audriana and Alivia Cooley; brother-in-law, Marvin (Shirley) Gebers and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are high school exchange daughter from Finland, Tarja (Seppo) Seuranen and her children Pauliina (Angelo) Meli and Mika Neimi; granddaughter Zoe; high school exchange son from Germany, Andy (Suzanne) Freytag and his children Judith and Lisa. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his brother, Russ (Arlene) Oberhaus. A memorial service will be planned at a later date due the health concerns surrounding COVID-19. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be designated to Uganda H2O to dig a fresh-water drinking well in Uganda.
