Description	:	Henry Harris, an old and most highly respected citizen of the Chelan valley, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Mathers, in Chelan, at 5 o'clock Wednesday evening, December 4th. He suffered a stroke of paralysis last week but had apparently somewhat recovered, and just before his death left the house for a few minutes; but the exertion proved too much and death followed quickly after his return to his couch. "Uncle Henry," as he was generally known among his friends, had been a resident of this valley since 1898. He had been a citizen of the state, however, since the 50s, when Washington was yet a territory, and had lived continuously in Clarke Co., until he came here. He was born in Canada on April 12, 1829. A widow and eight children mourn the loss of an affectionate husband and father.
