Mr. Marshall died Thursday, June 11, 1992, at his home. He was born Feb. 9, 1915, in Lecompton, the son of William Earl Marshall and Dora Brokmann Marshall. He was born Feb. 9, 1915, in Lecompton, the son of William Earl Marshall and Dora Brokmann Marshall. He attended Lawrence schools and graduated from Lawrence's Liberty Memorial High School in 1933. He worked for Kansas Color Press for 46 years. He retired as a press operator in 1982. Mr. Marshall served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship. He married Opal Fern Beers on Sept. 26, 1958, in Miami, Okla. She survives of the home. Other survivors include a son, Guy D. Walton, Lawrence; three daughters, Patricia Moorhead, Belton, Mo., and Teresa Bierig and Vickie Scott, both of Lawrence; two brothers, John Marshall, Oskaloosa, and William Marshall, Arlington, Tex.; four sisters, Dorothy Roper and Edith Kester, both of Lawrence, Minnie Rimmer, Independence, Mo., and Barbara Bailey, Lawton, Okla.; and 13 grandchildren.
