LATER--Since putting the above in type, Mr. Crosier died, passing away Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the hospital. Death was caused from heart failure as a result of the accident. The body was taken to St. Edward this Tuesday morning where services will be held Wednesday. Herbert LeRoy Crosier was the first son of Henry and Mary E. Hill Crosier. He was born February 14, 1880 in Platte County, Nebraska. He died at St. Mary's Hospital, Columbus, Nebraska of injuries received in a corn sheller accident on Dec. 4, 1903 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Edward, Nebraska in the Crosier Plot. Just when he seemed to have a promised life of activity and success his life was brought to a close. A number of his comrades in the State Militia, in uniform, marched on either side of his flag-draped casket in the procession to the Evergreen Cemetery in St. Edward where he was laid to rest.
