Description	:	H. N. Omlor dies Sunday Herman N. Omlor, 71, of Fostoria, O., a native of Washington township, died at 8 p.m. Sunday night following lung surgery. He had been hospitalized two weeks. A former Decatur businessman, he was a partner in the M&O ice cream parlor, where Litchfields Pioneer restaurant is now located. He move away from Decatur in 1935. Omlor, 71, of Fostoria, O., a native of Washington township, died at 8 p.m. Sunday night following lung surgery. He had been hospitalized two weeks. A former Decatur businessman, he was a partner in the M&O ice cream parlor, where Litchfields Pioneer restaurant is now located. He move away from Decatur in 1935. The son of Jacob and Mary Hain Omlor, he was born Oct. 27, 1902 on the Omlor farm in section 22 of Washington township. His grandparents had been pioneer residents, and among the first contributors to the building of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church here. He was married to the former Alice Nye, who survives, together with a daughter, Sue Ann Holdtz, and a granddaughter, Jennifer. Two brothers, Ed and Hubert Omlor, of Decatur, and two sisters, Celeste Steigmeyer and Frances Ulman of Decatur also survive. He has many cousins here and in the area, including the Right Rev. Msgr. Simeon Schmitt, who will have the service, and the Right Rev. Msgr. Thomas J. Durkin, of Fort Wayne, who will assist at the St. Wendelin church in Fostoria, O., at 1 p.m. Ohio time, on Wednesday.
