She died on Friday, July 24, 1992 at the Jenny Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs at the age of 84 years. Hilda was born on a farm in Ida County, and grew up on a farm south of Schleswig where she received her education in a rural school near her home. Schneller was born the daughter of Jurgen and Emma Jepsen Gregosches, on April 23, 1908. She died on Friday, July 24, 1992 at the Jenny Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs at the age of 84 years. Hilda was born on a farm in Ida County, and grew up on a farm south of Schleswig where she received her education in a rural school near her home. After completing her education, she was employed by various farmers in the region as needed. On Feb. 28, 1928, she was united in marriage to Henry Schneller at the Friedens Evangelical Church in Schleswig. The couple lived on a farm in Buck Grove before moving to other farms in the Crawford County region. They were blessed with the birth of six children. While Henry was working for the railroad, the couple bought a house in Deloit and subsequently a farm. Hilda was employed for many years at Armours and also at Cronk's Cafe in Denison. She was a loving wife and devoted mother who cared for her family with diligence and affection. She placed a high regard for the warmth of family love and provided those she loved with a happiness that will always be remembered. After retiring, she occupied her free time helping with Ladies Aid in church, canning, crocheting, socializing with her canasta club and Senior Citizen organization. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry, six brothers and sisters, five of whom died in infancy and one sister, Adela, at the age of 17 years. Also one brother-in-law, Bill Jeschke, three sons-in-law, John Fineran, Reed Dohse and Allen North, and one great-grandson. Survivors include, three daughters, Lorraine Aschinger and her husband Marlin of Deloit, DeLores Dohse of Westside, EmyLou North of Vail, three sons, Ronald and his wife Dorothy of Camanche, Henry and his wife Patricia of Tomahawk, Wis., and Robert and his wife Myrna of Denison, 20 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Ella Jeschke of Denison. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 28, 1992 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Deloit. Pastor Hilmer Hafner officiated the service and graveside rites held in the Crawford Heights Memory Gardens in Denison. Mary Ellen Hafner provided the organ accompaniment for congregational hymns "How Great Thou Art," "Crown Him with Many Crowns" and "Just as I Am, Without One Plea." Honorary pallbearers were Deanna Fineran, Brenda Rasche, Laurie Lashier, Lori Schneller, Sandy Grage and Mindy Dohse. Pallbearers were Kevin Meyerman, Craig Schneller, Denny Fineran, Greg Schneller, Tom Dohse and Rodney Koch. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of the Walter A.
