She was born on October 08, 1926 at home in Ridgeville Township to the late Alfred and Emelia (Otte) Hurst. On September 3, 1950, she married Eldin F. Imbrock who preceded her in death on July 19, 1954. She married Robert Reiser on August 1, 1962 and he also preceded her in death on July 27, 1980. Hildegard was a homemaker and loving mother as well as working as a bookkeeper at the Community Bank in downtown Napoleon for many years until her retirement in 1985. After a few years, she returned to the workforce working part time at the County Treasurer's Office until retiring again in 2003. She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Napoleon Township, where she held several positions and spent many hours in the company of her Christian brothers and sisters. She enjoyed and took pride in managing and caring for her family farm. Those who knew and loved Hildegard would say that she was patient and kind. She did not envy or boast; nor was she proud. She was not rude or self-seeking. She was not easily angered and kept no record of wrongs. Hildegard did not delight in evil, but rejoiced with the truth. She always protected, always trusted, always hoped, and always persevered. She embodied a I Corinthians 13 kind of love and extended it to all she met. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Donald Hurst. She is survived by her sons, Richard Imbrock of Napoleon, Dennis (Diana) Imbrock of Grove City, Ohio; granddaughters, Amelia (Jonathan) Shrum and Laura Imbrock; great granddaughter, Evelyn Marie Shrum; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hurst; brother-in-law, Norman Imbrock, and many nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be at 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. on Monday, April 10 at Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon, Ohio and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
