He passed on to the life beyond on April 9th, 1953 at the age of 37 years, 3 months and 21 days. He was baptized in infancy at the Danish Lutheran Church at Wolbach. He passed on to the life beyond on April 9th, 1953 at the age of 37 years, 3 months and 21 days. He was baptized in infancy at the Danish Lutheran Church at Wolbach. In 1950 he was united in marriage to Rita Ann Smith at Lexington, Nebraska. One daughter, Patricia Ann was born to this union. Howard grew to manhood and spent his entire life, with the exception of four years which was used in the armed servcies, in the Wolbach community. He was preceded in death by his father, who passed to the life beyond, March 4, 1938. He leaves to mourn his departure: his wife Rita and eight month old daughter Patricia ann; his mother, Mrs. Anna Jacobsen of Wolbach; two brothers, Leslie N. of Omaha and Alvin H. of Wolbach; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Frost and Mrs. Carl Lange of Wolbach, and Mrs. Sylvia Bucy of Grand Island; eighteen nieces and nephews; other relataives and a host of friends.
