Description	:	Hubert H. Spohn, son of Lida E. McCuiston and Doctor Marion Wilson Spohn, was born in Chester, Nebr., on Feb. 24, 1904, and passed away in Belleville, Ks., on Nov. 29, 1974 at the age of 70 years, 8 months and five days. Mr. Spohn attended the Chester Public Schools and the Babcock School of Pharmacy in Des Moines, Iowa. On March 9, 1926 he was united in marriage to Mona M. Spohn, son of Lida E. Mr. Spohn attended the Chester Public Schools and the Babcock School of Pharmacy in Des Moines, Iowa. On March 9, 1926 he was united in marriage to Mona M. King at Clay Center, Kans., and the couple lived in Chester where Mr. Spohn was fondly known as "Doc". The family were members of the Methodist Church and "Doc" spent many hours working on the church building. He was a builder of homes and a helping hand to many persons. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ethel Spohn. His survivors include his wife, Mona, of Chester; daughters, Mrs. Dean Bachenberg (Donna Lee) of Greeley, Colo., Mrs. John Zaghi (Ramona) of Sturbridge, Mass.; a son, Marion (Dick) Spohn of Rochester, Minn.; and James Kleveland of Nebraska City, whom he loved as a son; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Evans of Omaha and Mrs. Bernice Wagor of Philadelphia, Pa.; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, Dec. 2, at the Chester United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Opal Crounse, and Rev. Marlon Loftis of Giltner. Mrs. Dolan Frye was organist. The casket bearers were Everett Roop, John Navis, Vergil Cottam, W.O. Mannschreck, J.F. Gausman and Russell Burton. Interment was in the Chester Cemetery, Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Service in charge of arrangements. ==== Biography correction: He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother James Lloyd Spohn(1890-1890) and one sister Clara Ethel Spohn.
