There too she found her life mate, Gustav... Read More	FINAL RITES HELD FOR MRS HULDA NOWACK Hulda Dorothea Nowack, nee Frahm, was born November 8, 1864, in Brandenburg, Germany. Soon after her birth she was baptized in the name of the Trine God and was adopted into God's holy family as a child of God. She came to the United States with her parents at the age of 18 months. For twenty five years the family lived in Feuersville, Osage County, Missouri. There the departed was confirmed in the Christian faith in the Lutheran Church. There too she found her life mate, Gustav Nowack to whom she was married December 17, 1880. This marital union was blessed with 8 children, five daughters and three sons. The daughters are Mrs. Emma Fouts, Maxwell, NE; Mrs. Lydia Otto, York, NE; Mrs. Marie Bird, Omaha; Mrs. Josephine Parks, Blue Hill; and Amanda Nowack, who preceded her in death at the age of 14 years. The three sons are Frank Nowack, Bladen; William Nowack, Stratton, CO; Walter Nowack, Red Cloud, NE. The family came to Webster county in 1891. Here they have been members of Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr. Nowack, her husband, died November 14, 1930. Mrs. Nowack was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church during her so journ in our midst. She loved the Word of God. She was troubled with the ills of old age and could not worship with us here in church, but she had the Bible. It was Tuesday evening at about 8:35 p.m., when the Lord took her from this vale of tears and sorrow. She attained the ripe age of 80 years, 2 months, and 15 days. Besides the seven living children mentioned above she leave to mourn her departure, on brother, William C. Frahm , Blue Hill; 22 Grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and on great great grandchild. Eleven of her grandsons are in the service of the United States. One sister died in April 1942, and one brother April 25, 1934. Last Friday we accompanied her to her final resting place. Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church at 2:30 p.m. Now she rests quietly and peaceably next to her husband in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Blue Hill Leader 2 Feb 1945 Front Page FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS HULDA NOWACK HELD TODAY Mrs. Hulda Novak, 80 died at her home in Blue Hill Tuesday (23 Jan 1945), evening. She had been ill but a short time. The husband, Gus Novak, died November 14, 1930. Mr. & Mrs. Novak came to the Blue Hill community in 1892, and farmed until 1925, when they moved to Blue Hill. Mrs. Novak is survived by seven children, Mrs. Emma Fouts of Stratton, CO; Mrs. Marie Bird of Omaha, Walter of Red Cloud, and Mrs. Josephine Parks of Blue Hill. She is also survived by one brother, W.C. Frahm of Blue Hill. A brother and sister, Fred Frahm and Mrs. Peter Luhn, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 2:30 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran church, with the pastor, the Rev. August Ficken, in charge. Blue Hill Leader 26 Jan 1945 Front Page
