Milbourne, esteemed citizen of the Asbury section and widow of the late Woodland Milbourne, prominent in the seafood industry prior to his death in October of this year, passed away at her home in that community at approximately 9:00 o'clock Wednesday morning in the Crisfield suburb. Mrs. Milbourne, who was sixty-seven years of age, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. Dow Byrd, of the Asbury neighborhood. She had spent practically her entire life in the Crisfield suburb. Mrs. Milbourne, who was sixty-seven years of age, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. Dow Byrd, of the Asbury neighborhood. She had spent practically her entire life in the Crisfield suburb. A sweet, motherly, Christian lady, whose first thoughts in life were of her church, her home and her children, Mrs. Milbourne will be sadly missed by her host of friends, who loved her dearly. Before ill health overtook her she was one of the most faithful members of the Asbury Methodist Church and seldom was there a service held that she wasn't found in her accustomed place, listening reverently to every word that was spoken. In every way possible she aided the church and was ever ready to offer her services so that the fine work of the institution could go on. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Mayhew Nock, Mrs. Myrtle Gorsuch and Mrs. Dorothy Milbourne, of Crisfield, Mrs. Harry Branner, of Penns Grove, N. J., and Mrs. Norris Willey, of Pocomoke City. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. William Elliott, of Hershey, Pa. and Mrs. Lon Wilson, of Crisfield; and one brother, Christy Byrd, also of this city. Funeral services will be held at the Asbury Church at 2:00 o'clock this afternoon with Rev. J.T. Rowlenson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Asbury cemetery.
