Read More	YOUNG MATRON DIED SATURDAY Mrs. Vera May Willing Was Ill Only A Few Hours Funeral Services At Asbury Church Tuesday Mrs. Vera May Willing, wife of Norris Willing, of Pocomoke, died Saturday night last in the McCready Memorial Hospital here after an illness of only a few hours. She was 32 years of age. Mrs. Willing's death is deeply regretted and came as a shock to family and friends. She had been in good health and had gone about her usual duties until Saturday morning when she complained of feeling ill. Her physician advised her removal to the hospital where her death occurred just a few hours later. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Woodland Milbourne of the Lawsonia district in Crisfield. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church and was a regular attendant of Bethany Methodist Sunday School in Pocomoke. A devoted wife and mother, her interest centered around her home and her family's wants came first. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. from Asbury Church conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.T. Rowlenson, assisted by Rev. G.E. Leister, of Bethany Church, Pocomoke. The active pallbearers were: Leroy Sterling, Morris Milbourne, Paul Maddrix, Edward Wooster, Wilson Phillips and Francis Stant. The honorary bearers were ladies of the Asbury Church. The services were largely attended and the floral offerings were numerous and beautiful, attesting to the high esteem in which she was held by all who knew her. Mrs. Willing is survived by her husband, who is on the staff of the Worcester Democrat, Pocomoke, by two children, a son, Woodland, and a daughter, Jolyne. She also leaves four sisters, Mrs. Mayhew Nock, of Crisfield, Mrs. Myrtle Gorsuch, of Crisfield, Mrs. Harry Branner; of Penns Grove, N.J., and Miss Dorothy Milbourne, of Crisfield.
