Read More	Prominent Seafood Dealer Succumbs Woodland Milbourne Died At Home Following Stroke Services Held At Asbury Yesterday One of Crisfield's leading seafood dealers, Mr. Woodland Milbourne, after only a short illness, passed away at his home in Lawsonia on Monday of this week. Death was the result of a paralytic stroke suffered a little less than two weeks ago. Mr. Milbourne, the son of the late Littleton and Margaret Beauchamp Milbourne, who shortly after their marriage moved to Crisfield, where he was born, from the upper part of Somerset county, was nearing his seventieth birthday at the time of his death. Active for a number of years in the seafood firm known as the Milbourne Oyster Company, Mr. Milbourne was in charge of operations at the George's Island, Worcester county, branch of the concern, while his brother, Mr. Gordon Milbourne, managed the Crisfield office. It was at George's Island that he suffered the stroke which later resulted in his death. Following the stroke he was taken to one of the large hospitals in Baltimore City where he was advised to take a complete rest. However, being an active and energetic man who hated the thoughts of inactivity even for a short period. He returned to the island and continued the business, much against the wishes of his family. Several days ago he grew worse and was brought to his home in the suburbs, where he passed away Monday. An active member of and a generous contributor to Asbury Methodist Church, Mr. Milbourne was a true Christian gentleman and a man who had earned and deserved the love and respect of hundreds of warm friends. He was a fine type of citizen, of the highest integrity, energetic, and a successful businessman. His long experience in the seafood business...
