The flowers were cared for by Mrs. Sam Switzer and Mrs. Dale Groomes. Casket bearers included James Day, Raymond Day, Eugene Bielsen, Alvin Robertson, Carl Switzer and Maurice Wycoff. Burial was in the NEvada Cemetery. Obituary: Ida B Huffman was born in Princeton, Ill. April 9, 1870 and died in the Story County Hospital in Nevada March 27, 1958. She was married to James E Robertson May 7, 1890 in Nevada who preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1933 (really 1932). She spent most of her life on a farm near Shipley. Six children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Robertson, two of whom preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Jay of Minnetonka Beach, Minn. and John of San Diego., and two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Day of Nevada and Mrs. Velma Boyeyn of Waterloo, also 14 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She also leaves five sisters, Mrs. Carrie Emerson, Mrs. Lem Oxley and Mrs. John Ernest of Nevada, Mrs. Elmer Taylor and Mrs. Violet Shear of Ames. The deceased was a member of the Assembly of God church in Nevada. Amoung immediate relatives here for the funeral were Mr, and Mrs. Jay Robertson and son Alvin of Minnetonka Beach, Minn.; Rev. and Mrs. Truman Robertson and family of Rhinelander, Wis.; Mr and Mrs Harry Noleyn and their daughter and husband of Waterloo and a number of others from Minnesota, northern Iowa and elsewhere.
