The daughter of Jonathan and Rebecca Enloe Tomlinson, she was born in Cole county, Missouri, April 23, 1866 [sic]. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 55 years. She was a member of the First Church of God. Surviving are four sons, Clarence Poncy of Louisville, Ky., and Harold, Oscar and Paul Poncy of Ottumwa; four daughters, Mrs. Lola Conrad and Mrs. Darlene Goodman of Ottumwa, Mrs. Margaret Stevens of Des Moines, and Miss Arlene Poncy at home; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one brother, Oscar Tomlinson of Ottumwa, and two sisters, Mrs. Eliza Enloe of Ottumwa and Mrs. Fannie O'Dell of Flat, Mo.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mart, two daughters, one son, three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel, in charge of E.M. Boyer, lay preacher of Chillicothe, and the Rev. Everett Riley of the First Church of God. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
