She was born Jan. 29, 1925, in Ottumwa to Martin and Ida Lee Tomlinson Poncy. She married Lester Goodman Jan. 3, 1946. He preceded her in death Nov. 6, 1991. She had worked at John Morrell and Co. and retired from Everco.She was a member of the First Church of God. She was preceded in death by five sisters, her twin, Arlene Poncy, Lola Stanton, Edna Knight, Margaret Stevens and an infant sister; five brothers, Clarence, Elmer, Oscar, Paul and Harold Poncy.
