Read More	"Harveyville Monitor" Feb. 19, 1948 Mrs. Ida Lamb Yeakly Mrs. Ida Mae Lamb Yeakly of Harveyville, died Friday at the home of a daughter in Harveyville. She was the widow of William Yeakly. She was born in Union County, Iowa, March 1, 1862 and came to Kansas in 1878. The family first settled at Americus, and later lived for 14 years at Admire. She has made her home in Harveyville for the last five years. Mrs. Yeakly was a member of the Quaker Church. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. James Martin and a son, Allen both of Harveyville, and a sister, Mrs. Arthur Frost, of Americus. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, Feb. 16, at one-thirty o'clock at the Harveyville Methodist Church with Rev. J. Gall Garst conducting the services. Mrs. J. Gall Garst sang two numbers and was accompanied by Mrs. W.C. Kopp the pianist. The pallbearers were: Bernard Anderson, Harvey Prescott, Raymond sweet, Howard Stateler, Luda Martin and Robert Slade. Interment was in the Fruitland Cemetery in Americus. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Hurley funeral directors. Obituary: The Yeakly Funeral Harveyville, Feb. 19, 1948---Funeral services for Mrs. W. A. Yeakly, who died Friday in Harveyville were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Methodist Church. The Rev. J. Gail Garst was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Fruitland Cemetery, four miles west of Americus. Mrs. Yeakly was born March 1, 1862, in Union Co., Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lamb. She came to Americus in 1878. There she married W. A. Yeakly. They were the parents of five children, three having died when small. Survivors are one son, Allen Yeakly, of Burlingame; one daughter, Mrs. Lora Yeakly Martin, of Harveyville; one sister, Mrs. A. L. Frost, of Americus; and several nieces and nephews. ∼Married Willaim Alexander Yeakley 10 April 1881.
