Rites will be held at the M. Ringen Chapel at 1:30 o’clock and from the First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. John A. Siemers, pastor of the church will officiate, and interment will be made in the Lakeview Cemetery. Six grandsons of the deceased will serve as pallbearers.... They are Carl Oberg, Raymond Peterson, Walter Nelson, Dale Nelson, Duane Nordstrom and Roland Nelson. Mrs. Nordstrom was born in Sweden on January 18, 1857 and her marriage to Peter Nordstrom was solemnized in Sweden on May 14, 1875. With her husband and children she came to this community in June 1902, and the family home had been maintained here since that time. Mr. Nordstrom filed on land in Spencer Township, west of Kenmare. She leave to mourn her passing, four sons and four daughters. The children are Alfred and Carl Nordstrom of Canwood, Sask., Canada; Oscar Nordstrom, Kenmare; Victor Nordstrom, Norma; Mrs. John Oberg, Minot; Mrs. Arthur Nelson, Kenmare; Mrs. Ellen Peterson, Kenmare and Mrs. Harry E. Nelson, East Grand Forks, Minn. There are 29 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Mr. Nordstrom passed away February 29, 1928, at the age of 85 years, and she was also predeceased by two sons, Henry, in 1903 and Carl who died in infancy.
