Mr. Tresler was born February 24, 1892, in rural Union County, S.D., the son of pioneer parents. On February 7, 1928, he married Miss Minnie Ahrens in Elk Point, and they began homemaking on a farm. . He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of at Akron, Plymouth Co., Iowa. Mr. Tresler was esteemed by many friends, who extend sympathy to his relatives. . Survivors include the widow; two sons, Floyd and Walter, both at home; two brothers, Walter of Hill City, South Dakota; and Floyd of Medelia, Minnesota; two sisters, Mrs. Walt Baurret of Mitchell, S.D., and Mrs. Lawrence Berfiend of Rapid City, S.D. . Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rev. Harris Hostbager officiating. There was congregational singing and Mrs. Glen Gabel was organist. Casket bearers were Porter Maynard, Harvey Dewey, Lester Henke, Darcy Fletcher, Elmer Dimmick and Elmo Fletcher. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. . [End]. . -- -- -- -- --
