He was born May 6, 1934, in Lancaster to the late Edgar Lape and Alice Elnora (Stouder) Turner. Irvin faithfully served his country in the U.S. Marine Coros during the Korean War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lancaster and enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors. Irvin was preceded in death by his parents. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Sheridan Funeral Home. Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Chuck Imhoff officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
