Born near Bloomington in Green (sic) County, Indiana, Mr. Stansbury came as a small boy to Nuckolls County, Nebraska, the family settling near Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Stansbury lived on a farm near Hardy for about five years, after which they moved to Superior, their home since that time. Mr. Stansbury was employed by Nuckolls county (sic) on highway maintenance for 26 years, and for the past few years has been employed by the Superior Floral Company. Surviving are his wife; one grandson, Robert Elliott; son-in-law, T.E. Ryhd of Superior; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Bowman of Guide Rock and Mrs. Lottie Nielsen of St. Helens, Ore.; one brother, Elisha of Fair Oaks, Calif.; two half brothers, Orie Goodrich of Nelson and Grayson Goodrich of Gering, Nebr. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Wilbur Swan at the Megrue funeral home March 2 at 2 p.m., and interment was in Evergreen cemetery (sic).
