Description	:	Mrs. Isaac Stansbury, born Nellie Pountney Smith, daughter of Charles Henry and Martha Smith, was born June 14, 1882 in Bewdley, England. In 1884, her father's family immigrated to American and settled in Fairfield, Nebr., and later lived in Edgar. On Jan. 28, 1904 in Clay Center, Nebr., she was united in marriage with Isaac Stansbury. In 1909 they moved to Superior and there they lived for the rest of their lives. Of this union, two children were born: Lois E. Rhyd, who passed away Jan. 9, 1954, and Florence, who died in infancy. In 1909 they moved to Superior and there they lived for the rest of their lives. Of this union, two children were born: Lois E. Rhyd, who passed away Jan. 9, 1954, and Florence, who died in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. Stansbury celebrated their golden anniversary in 1953, and then Mr. Stansbury died on March 1, 1955. Those who mourn her are one grandson, Robert Elliott, Parks Air Base, Calif.; her son-in-law, Tellef Rhyd, Superior; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Groves of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Grace Stephens of Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Maude Ritterbush of Nelson, Neb.; one brother, L.H. Smith of La Crescenta, Calif. Mrs. Stansbury was a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge of Superior. Services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Megrue funeral home in Superior with the Rev. Wilbur Swan of the Presbyterian church (sic) officiating.
