Description	:	Isaac Milton Cooper, son of Isaac and Mary Ellen McEnyde Cooper, was born March 10, 1866 Greenfield, Ill., and died Oct. 1, 1939 at his home northeast of Hoxie, Kansas, at the age of 73 years and 6 months. On November 13, 1887, he was married at Glen Elder, Kansas, to Rosa Augusta Schuman. To this union were born five children, all of whom survive him. The are Edward H.; George F.; Ralph J. and Milton I., all of Hoxie, and Mary E. (now Mrs. Verne L. Luny) of Myrtle Point, Oregon. In 1911, the family came to Sheridan county, Kansas. Mrs. Cooper preceded him in death on July 15, 1932. Mr. Cooper's chief occupation, and one which he thoroughly enjoyed, was operating a threshing machine during the years of bountiful harvests, his life-work brought great pleasure and benefit to him. He served as Representative of this District for two terms - 1922 - 1926. On July 22, 1935 he was married to Sophia Turner, who with the five Children are left to mourn his sudden departure, death having visited him in his sleep. Several Grandchildren and a host of friends will also miss Mr. Cooper. Funeral services where held at the Hoxie Methodist church on Tuesday, October 3, at 2:00 p. m. Rev. R.R. Braddick officiating. Interment was made in the Hoxie Cemetery. A Tribute To Mr Cooper: Mr. Cooper was a man of highest moral integrity, a public spirited citizen and a good neighbor. He was courageous in his stand against the liquor traffic and its attendant evils. He has left an example of clean living and right thinking for his family and Friends. Card of Thanks: We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our many friends for their sympathy, kind words and deeds during the loss of our dear husband and father.
