Description	:	Obituary Rosa. A. Schuman was born in Doniphan County, Kansas. January 16, 1868, and departed this life July 15, 1932, at the age of 64 yers, five month and 29 days. She came to Glen Elder, Kansas with her parents in 1872. She was united in marriage to Isaac M. Cooper, November 13, 1887. To this union five children were born, She leaves to mourn here departure her husband, four sons, Edd H., George F., Ralph J., and Milton I., all of Hoxie. One daughter, Mrs. Mary E Lundy, of Myrtle Point, Ore., fifteen grandchildren, a stepfather, Henry Kohler, of Glen Elder, Three Half-brother, Edd H., and George Kohler of Glen Elder, and Alber P. Kohler of Hoxie, two sisters, Mrs. D. S. Wright of Glen Elder, and Mrs. L. H. Smith of Lebanon, Kansas, beside a host of other relatives and friends. She was christened in the Presbyterian church in infancy and later, at the age of 16 years she was converted into the Methodist church. Although she was not so active in church work in later years she remained true to this faith until the end. In 1911 she with her family, moving to Sheridan country where she resided until her Death. Funeral services where held at the Methodist church at Hoxie, July 17. Out of town relatives attending the funeral where Mr, and Mrs. D.S. Wright and family, Mr and Mrs. Edd Kohler, Henry Kohler, Mr and Mrs., Mr. And Mrs George Kohler, Mr. And Mrs. Louis Neff, Mrs, Henry Albert and son, Doyle, Charley Albert, Claude Hendricks, and Homer Breitweiser. All of Glen Elder: Mr and Mrs. Louis H. Smith and family and Mrs. W. W. Smith of Lebanon: Mrs. Leland Coble, and Mrs. Jimmie Arnett, Alton; Mr. And Mrs, Jim Cooper and son of Greely, Colorado; Mrs. Ed Day of Cawker City, and Fred Rumft, of Cawker City. Mrs. Cooper was a devoted wife and mother who for the past three years had been a patient sufferer of heart disease. She was held in high esteem by her many friends in Sheridan County, as well as her old home in Mitchell county. Interment was made in the Hoxie Cemetery, Card of Thanks: We sincerely thanks our friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us during the long Illness and death of our loved one, also for the beautiful floral offering. - Isaac M. Cooper and Children. Rose Cooper was the half sister of George Kohler, the daughter of Mary Schuman Kohler and the step-daughter of Henry Kohler. Obit from Hoxie Sentinel.
