The Rev. Hugh Berry officiated. Pallbearers were: Evertt Orton, Earl Barrett, Jack Hall, Don Rice, James Shannon and Sam Hummel. Mrs. E.B. Nennemann was organist and flowers were cared for by Mrs. Sam Hummel and Mrs. Ralph Lyons. The memory book was in the charge of Ruth Jorgenson. Isilda Julia Wright was born December 10, 1906 to O.E. and Mable Smith in Emerson, Iowa. She was the oldest of eight children. She passed away at the Clarinda Municipal Hospital May 29th at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 19 days. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Leslie Wright on September 1, 1926. To this union seven children were born. Isilda moved to Soldier, Kansas at an early age where she spent girlhood and early married life. She was a member of the Christian Church. She and her family moved to a farm southeast of Sidney in 1940, later they moved into Sidney where she spent her remaining years. Her father, mother, one sister, one brother and one son, Kenneth Dale preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, five daughters and one son; Mrs. Louis (Marjorie) Thomas, Mrs. Quentin (Wilma) Chapman, Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Briggs, and Mrs. Roger (Bonnie) Ward, all of Sidney; Mrs. Ronald (Darlene) Fletcher of Winterest, Iowa and Jerry Wright of Lincoln, Nebraska. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Ernest and Glenn Smith of Soldier, Kansas, Eldon Smith of LaPuente, California, Eugene Smith of Overland Park, Kansas and Velma Haag of Topeka, Kansas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Burial was in the Sidney Cemetery.
