Iva Myrtle Morgan was born in Lewis, Cass County, Iowa: January 18, 1879 and passed from this life August 7, 1926 at the age of 47 years 6 months and 9 days. In early childhood she moved with her parents on a farm north of Lexington, Dawson County, Nebraska. In 1894 they moved on a farm four miles west of Sumner, Nebraska. In 1900 they came to Loup City. On August 15 of the same year she was united in marriage to Mr. Edward Radcliff. To this union was born one daughter, Vera Mae, who survives. Mrs. Radcliff united with the Methodist church during her youth and was an earnest Christian woman and a devoted mother. She was highly respected and loved by all her neighbors and friends. She leaves to mourn her loss; one daughter Vera Mae; one brother George of Ravenna and his three sons John, George and Walter of Omaha and Aurora besides many other relatives and friends. Her parents, William Morgan and Nancy Ann Morgan preceeded her in death in the years of 1921 and 1922. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock: Rev. Maynard conducting the services. Interment was made in the Evergreen cemetery. The out of town relatives in attendance at the funeral were: Mrs. Arthur Stephenson of Callaway; Mrs. Frank Kalous and children of Sumner; Mr. and Mrs. George Morgan of Ravanna; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Morgan of Aurora and Mr. John Morgan of Omaha.
