Description	:	Jacob C. Steinhauer, 69, of Barada, died at 5 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Goldie Puett, 924 Lane street. Mr. Steinhauer had been in ill health since September. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. For the past two weeks he had been at the home of his daughter. He was born September 15, 1861. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from Reavis & Macomber's chapel in charge of Rev. Wiley Pruett. Burial will be made in the Barada cemetery. This obituary is from the February 26, 1931 Falls City Journal, Falls City, Nebraska. Note:His parents were Peter Henry Steinhauer (1932-1877) and Anna Maria Spohn (1834-1905).
