OBITUARIES- JACOB C. WADE Jacob Charles Wade was born November 6, 1857, and passed away June 17, 1934, at the age of 70 years, 7 months and 11 days. He was the youngest of four children and the last to be called. The deceased is survived by his widow, two sons, two nieces and two nephews. October 18, 1911 the deceased and Miss Louise F. Gould were united in marriage at Lincoln, Neb. To this union were born two sons, Clyde who died in infancy, and Clarence who resides at home. He also leaves Merle Wade of Des Moines, a son by a former marriage. The deceased was born in Darke county, Ohio, where he lived a few years, when his parents moved to Ill. He lived in Iowa for a few years, coming to Beatrice about 30 years ago where he lived until his death. Mr. Wade had worked at Dempster's Mfg. company for about 15 years, working until March 6 when he was taken ill. He gradually grew worse until the end. He was of a kind disposition and a man well thought of by all who knew him. He was always doing things for the good of his home and community. He was a kind and loving husband and father and will be greatly missed in his home and by his friends. (Thanks goes to Researcher Barbara Schwartz for sending this information for his memorial,)
