Mr. Launer has been engaged in the building trade, being a brick mason, and has worked on many of the brick blocks that have been constructed during his term of residence. He was born at Steinenbron, Germany fifty-nine years ago and when he came to this country soon located in Fremont. He was married in this city to Miss Minnie Fuerstenau in 1882. He is survived by his widow and seven children, four boys and three girls, Frank, Will, Edward and Jacob, Mrs. H. Taylor, Omaha, Mrs. A. Madsen and Mrs. Will Weidner of Fremont. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Trinity Lutheran church. ____ January 17, 1921, p. 8, col. 5 Funeral – The funeral of the late Jacob Launer was largely attended Sunday afternoon from the Trinity Lutheran church. Many relatives and friends from out of town were in attendance.
