Born on April 23, 1930 in Great Mills, MD, he was the son of the late Pirly I. and Lola Taylor Gatton. He worked for Ted Stroud in the concrete business from 1947 to 1969. Mr. Gatton served in the U.S. Army from 1956 until 1957. Aubrey owned and operated Gatton Concrete Inc. from 1969 until retiring in 1991. A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted on Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at St. Michael's Church. The Reverend Maurice O'Connell was the celebrant. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery. Arrangements by the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD.
