Description	:	James E. “Jim” Huth, 67, of Fostoria, passed away 6:50 am Monday, September 16, 2013 at Fostoria Community Hospital. He was born September 5, 1946 in Fostoria to Richard and Alice (Mestrez) Huth, and his mother survives in Fostoria. He married Teresa Reinhart May 1, 1986 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and she survives in Fostoria. Also surviving are two daughters, Maggie Huth, Columbus and Molly Huth, Grand Rapids, MI.; two sons, Jason (Cortney) Huth, Reno, NV and Joshua (Ashley) Huth, Columbus; four grandchildren, Maddie, Cameron, Grace and Emma Huth; and three sisters, Karen (Gary) Zimmerman, Avon Park, FL, Kris (John) Hadacek, Pisqua, NC and Rebecca Filler, Stockton, CA. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Robert Huth. Jim was a United States Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War and currently a sales consultant for Selee Corporation of Hendersonville, NC. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria and a 1964 graduate of St. Wendelin High School. He was a member of the AA community, and a spiritual person who possessed very sound life principles. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, camping, fly fishing and was always willing to help those in need. He will be fondly remembered for how he started his day, sitting on the patio, drinking coffee, with his reflection books and his pet dogs. Jim always gave unselfishly, even in his passing. He was an organ donor through LifeConnections and helped two more lives upon his death. Visitation is Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 2-4 & 5-8 pm at HOENING FUNERAL HOME 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 3:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Friday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, where a Rosary will be prayed at 10 am. The Fostoria United Veterans will provide military honors following the Mass at Church, and a funeral luncheon will follow in the Parish Hall.
