Description	:	James E. Harvey Sr., 92, formerly of Wood St., Bellevue, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 in The Bellevue Hospital. He was born on October 12, 1916, in Cleveland, OH, the son of Mark B. and Eva (Williamson) Harvey. His family moved to Bellevue in 1925, and upon graduation from Bellevue High School in 1934 he began working for Nickel Plate Railroad and later worked for General Cutlery in Fremont, Ohio. Harvey Sr., 92, formerly of Wood St., Bellevue, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 in The Bellevue Hospital. He was born on October 12, 1916, in Cleveland, OH, the son of Mark B. and Eva (Williamson) Harvey. His family moved to Bellevue in 1925, and upon graduation from Bellevue High School in 1934 he began working for Nickel Plate Railroad and later worked for General Cutlery in Fremont, Ohio. He married Dorothy Leota Frederick in 1937; she preceded him in death in 1996. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years and then collecting coins, knives, and guns. He was also an avid photographer, often processing and printing his own photos. He is survived by two sons, Ron (Shirlee) Harvey of Republic, OH, Mark (Carol) Harvey of Bellevue. One daughter, Carolyn Warner of Bellevue, daughter-in-law, Sandra Harvey of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one son, Lt. James E. Harvey Jr. Bellevue Firefighter, a son-in-law William Warner, a brother Aubrey Harvey and one sister Leila. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service officiated by Reverend Karen Kaye of St. John's Lutheran Church, will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Bellevue City Cemetery.
