He loaves seven grandchildren: three great grandchildren; two brothers, Hubert, Sioux Falls, S. D., and Harry, Shenandoah; and two sisters, Mrs. T. U. McManus 663 Conger street, Waterloo, and Mrs. C. W. Bedford, San Gabriel, One grandson, Lieut. James Loonan, is in service somewhere in Ireland. Mr. and Mrs. Loonan celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Feb. 3, 1936. Mr. Loonan was a member of Waterloo lodge No. 105, A. F. A. M., of Waterloo, was a member of the Federated church here and a deacon until 1929, and of the Commercial club. He was president of the Hud- son Commercial club at the time of his death and about 20 years ago was an extensive breeder of blooded cattle and of Percheron horses on his farm three miles east of Hudson, where Mr. and Mrs. Loonan lived 44 years. They moved to Hudson in 1929. Prayer services will be at 2 p m. Sunday at the home, followed by a service at at the Fed- erated church. Waterloo lodge A F. A.
