He was a charter member of the Douglasville Methodist Church and of the Mabelvale Masonic Lodge. Mr. Douglass is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Lee Douglass; two sons, George A. and James Wayne Douglass; a sister, Mrs. Leola Jones; three brothers, George W., Noah A., and Quinea Douglass, of Little Rock; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by Reverend B.F. Fitzhugh at the Douglasville Methodist Church. Published in the Benton Courier, Benton, Arkansas, on September 6, 1945. |
