Description	:	RURAL HALL, NC ~ Mr. James Thomas "Jim" Terry, 80, of Rural Hall passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012. He was born June 1, 1931 in Stokes County to James Monroe and Florence Fulp Terry. Jim retired from AT&T after 38 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Mabel Ashby, Reba Scott and Lois Hall. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Matthews Terry; three children: Tanya Wallace and husband Lee of Rockingham, Greg Terry and wife Lisa of Clemmons, and Monica Terry of Rural Hall; three grandchildren: Chevonne Wallace, Landon Wallace, and Andrew Terry;... Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Slate Funeral Home in King, with Rev. Joseph Fulk III officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Comprehensive Cancer Center of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, PO Box 571021, Winston Salem, NC 27157-1021.
