Wilson died Monday in a Great Falls nursing home where he had been a resident for the past year. He was born in Gladstone, Mich., and worked as a mechanical engineer. He made the preliminary survey for the Milwaukee Railroad from Great Falls to Lewistown in 1910, then was in charge of construction between the Big Sag and the Peck and Lacey crossing. Wilson and Mary Edwards Harris were married in 1913 in Fort Benton. She died in April 1972. Between 1922 and 1932, the Wilsons lived in Potrerillos, Chile, where he was employed by the Anaconda and Anglo-Chilean Nitrate Co. From 1932 to 1942, he was employed by the United States Smelting and Refining Co. in Fairbanks, Alaska. In the early 1940s, he took a job with Nicaro Nickel Co. in Cuba and remained there until 1945. From 1945 to 1959, Wilson and his wife operated an avocado and citrus farm near Escondido, Calif. After his wife's death, he lived at Highwood with a niece, Mrs. Marjorie Gray. Surviving with Mrs. Gray is his sister, Mrs. Marjorie Gimbal, Citrus Heights, Calif.
