The widowed mother still lives in South Dakota at the advanced age of eighty-one. Mary, the fourth child, was married to John Newby in 1854, and lived near Cambridge City. One daughter, Jennie, now the wife of Larkin Macy, blessed this union. She, with her family, now lives with her widowed mother on the old homestead, the husband having passed away in 1870.
