Description	:	Janet Louise Papach, 67, of Mason City, died Sunday, April 7, 2019, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2019, at Epiphany Parish Holy Family Catholic Church, 722 N. Adams Ave., Mason City, with Rev. Jacob Rouse officiating. Janet was born June 8, 1951, the daughter of Charles and Kathryn (Hoffman) Papach in Osage, IA. A graduate of Riceville High School, class of 1969, she enlisted in the United States Army and served for three years. Following an honorable discharge, she continued her education at Strayer University in Arlington, VA, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She worked as a communications analyst for the United States Navy, as well as the State department for most of her career. During that time, she authored and co-authored many long range planning studies for the government. Janet was a member of Epiphany Parish Holy Family Catholic Church in Mason City and was a sponsor in their RCIA program. She always enjoyed going to mass on Sunday’s with her mother and siblings, and then going out for breakfast afterwards. She loved watching Star Trek, reading, completing crossword puzzles and spending time with her cats. Janet is survived by her mother, Kathryn Papach of Eau Claire, WI; five siblings, Marie (Doug) Pyle of Louisville, TX, Margie (Jim) Kapinos of Alford, FL, Frances (Marvin) Kirschner of Eau Claire, WI, Rex (Sally) Papach of Mason City and Anita (Dr. Tim) Weiland of Eau Claire, WI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father
