Description	:	TAYLOR, JANET MARION NETTIE--Janet Marion Pollock, known to her friends and family as Nettie, was born August 8, 1886, in Eagle Point township, Ogle county, Illinois, the third child of David and Marion Douglas Pollock. Read More	TAYLOR, JANET MARION NETTIE--Janet Marion Pollock, known to her friends and family as Nettie, was born August 8, 1886, in Eagle Point township, Ogle county, Illinois, the third child of David and Marion Douglas Pollock. She passed away in Lincoln, Neb., March 23, 1964, at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 15 days. At an early age she came with her family to live in Madison township, Fillmore county, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Herbert Taylor, March 2, 1915. To this union, three children were given, James Richard of Friend, Robert David of Lincoln, and Herbert of Arvada, Col. Mr. Taylor preceded his wife in death, February 19, 1926. Early in life Mrs. Taylor became a member of the Presbyterian church. She loved children and young people and devoted most of her life to helping with them. She raised from infancy, two nieces, Joan Salber of Worland, Wyo., and Marion Butcher of Chicago, Ill.; and a nephew, Allan Pollock of Los Angeles, Cal. She will be greatly missed by them. She leaves to mourn her passing her three children, one brother Royce Pollock of Omaha, seven grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was devoted to her family, and will always be an inspiration to them. Funeral services were held in the Federated church in Fairmont, Thursday, March 26, with Rev. Stewart Maynard officiating. Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Roland Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Federal Bridgman, with Mrs. Jerry Galusha as organist. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. Pallbearers were Don Beavers, Frank Rohla Jr., Charles F. Tous, Francis Schepers, Hubert McClellan and Conrad E. Cook. The Nebraska Signal 2 April 1964 page 4.
