She had been in failing health the past two months. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian church east of Kamrar with the Rev. Loren Parman officiating and with burial in the Presbyterian cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Foster funeral home until 10 a.m. Thursday when it will be taken to the church. Jennie Tempel, daughter of John and Talka Tempel, was born April 1, 1873, in Beschotenweg, Ostfriesland, Germany. In 1881, at the age of 8, she came with her parents to the United States, locating on a farm near Kamrar. She was reared and educated in the Kamrar community. She was united in marriage March 3, 1893, to George G. Klaver at the Presbyterian church by the Rev. H. A. Griethuysen. In March, 1955, the couple celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Klaver resided on a farm near Kamrar, moving into Kamrar in 1941, the family home since. She was preceded in death by her husband Oct. 30, 1955; by one daughter, Bina; two grandchildren; her parents and two brothers. Surviving are five sons and five daughters: Mrs. Henry (Tillie) Hanson, Battle Lake, Minn., Mrs. Gertie Letcher, Buffalo Center, Iowa, John Klaver, Webster City; Joe Klaver, Stratford; Peter Klaver of Jewell, Mrs. Fred (Jennie) McCameron of Cresco, Mrs. Victor (Freda) Lockwood of Kamrar; Mrs. Marie Read of Webster City, Richard and Bernard Klaver, both of Jewell; 28 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Peter Tempel, Lenox, S. D., Harm Tempel and Joe Tempel, both of Kamrar, and Mrs. Della Vaubel, Webster City. Mrs. Klaver was baptized in the Presbyterian faith and was a member of the Presbyterian church since Sept 3, 1893.
