Good, a pioneer and highly respected resident of Boone county, died at his home in this city at 8:30 o'clock Sunday morning, February 26th. His death was entirely unexpected as he seemed to be in his usual health and had been downtown the day before. He was a brother of the Hon, John L. Good, and was well known all over the county and leaves a host of friends who will regret to learn of his sudden death. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. O.H.L. Mason, and the remains were laid to rest in East Linwood cemetery, followed by a large concourse of sorrowing friends. Deceased was born in Dauphin county Pennsylvania, April 2, 1836, and was almost 69 years of age at the time of his death. He came to Boone county in a very early day and has made his home here ever since. His family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow.
