Leo R. Nielsen officiating. The McIntyre-Jacobsen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery. Jess Robert Elliott was born on September 15, 1908 at Wolbach to Cynthia and William Elliott. He died May 7, 1966 at his home as a result of a heart attack at the age of 57 years, 7 months and 22 days. Jess grew to manhood in the Wolbach area, he received his education in the Wolbach rural schools. He was baptized in the First Christian Church at Fremont. On March 20, 1929 he was married to Marjorie Lucille Berney at Wolbach. To this union one child was born. Jess and his family lived in Fremont for 13 years. The remainder of his life was lived in the Wolbach area. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and five brothers. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Darlene Whalen and three grandchildren, all of Wolbach; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Pickerel of Homedale, Idaho, Mrs. Evelyn Ross of Portland, Oregon and Miss Bess Weiser of Grand Island, two brothers, William Elliott of Reno, Nevada and Delbert Elliott of Wyoming and a host of relatives and friends.
