Read More	MOWRY, JESSE CLEO CLEO—was born in Geneva, Neb., December 29, 1886. He died at his home at Schenectady, N.Y., at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 1916, being aged 29 years, 4 months, and 14 days. Cleo early showed an interest in mechanics, and bent his studies in that direction. For a number of years, he called regularly for The Signal’s copy of the Scientific American, the contents of which he absorbed eagerly and profitably. After graduating from the Geneva public school, he took a course in electrical engineering in the state university, graduating from that institution five years ago. In September following his graduation, he entered the service of the General Electric Co., spending the first year at Pittsfield, Mass., and being then transferred to the company’s plant at Schenectady, N.Y., which has since then been his home. He was married at McCook, Neb., June 11, 1914 to Miss Emma Pade of that city with whom he became acquainted while both were attending the state university. Cleo is survived by his wife and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David C. Mowry of Geneva, and three brothers and four sisters. Cleo was ill about ten days, death being caused by malignant endocarditis. There are twenty-five or thirty Nebraska boys in the employment of the General Electric Company at Schenectady, and all belong to the Nebraska club. They gave Cleo and his wife the kindest attentions during his illness, and were very helpful following Cleo’s death. They escorted the body Saturday evening to the train to begin its long journey to Nebraska. The funeral party arrived here Monday. The bereaved wife was met at Lincoln by her uncle, Herman Pade of McCook. Other relatives of hers who came to attend the funeral were her aunts, Mrs. Herman Pade and Miss Bertha Pade, and her brothers Herman and Gustave. The funeral took place from the Methodist Episcopal church in Geneva at 2:30 yesterday afternoon, and was conducted by Rev. W.L. Austin. The interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
